PLF Reviews explains the evergreen launch: a Product Launch Formula launch that has been automated so it runs on a fixed schedule for every new subscriber, instead of once or twice a year.
A true story about a system that keeps working: India’s ‘Pad Man’

Arunachalam Muruganantham left school at 14 and worked as a welder. After seeing his wife use rags because pads cost too much, he spent years — ridiculed by his community — building a low-cost machine to make sanitary pads. It costs about ₹65,000 instead of the ₹35 million for imported machines, and his machines have been installed in 23 of India’s 28 states.
He didn’t build one product; he built a system that keeps producing. An evergreen launch is the Product Launch Formula version of that idea: a launch turned into a system that keeps working. Read the full story: The ‘Pad Man’ of India.
An evergreen launch replays a proven launch on a schedule, with a real deadline each time.
Jeff Walker’s free Launch Masterclass is a live example: a new group starts every week, follows the same calendar and sees the same offer.
Jeff Walker’s weekly Masterclass: an evergreen launch you can watch
The easiest way to understand an evergreen launch is to join one. Here is the calendar Jeff Walker’s team runs every week, in U.S. Eastern Time:

Registration open
- Monday: PLC1 releases.
- Tuesday: PLC2 releases.
- Thursday, 4:00 pm ET: PLC3 is broadcast live and the Product Launch Formula offer is presented.
- Friday to Sunday: the replay is available and the cart is open.
- Sunday at 11:59 pm ET: the cart closes, and a new group has already started registering.
Each group has its own real deadline. That is what separates an automated launch from an always-open sales page.
When to make a launch evergreen
- The launch already converts. Automate what works; don’t automate a guess.
- You have steady traffic. Ads, SEO, podcasts, partners — new people must keep arriving.
- The deadline can stay honest. Each group needs a real close date and real consequences (the offer or bonus really ends for that group).
How to build an evergreen launch
- Record your best prelaunch content from a live launch.
- Choose a cadence — weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
- Set up group-based dates in your email platform so each subscriber joins the next cycle.
- Keep one live element if you can. Jeff Walker keeps PLC3 live; live sessions keep the event feel.
- Watch the numbers every cycle — opt-ins, attendance, conversion, refunds.
Evergreen launch vs. evergreen funnel
| Evergreen launch | Typical evergreen funnel | |
|---|---|---|
| Structure | Full PLC sequence + open cart | Lead magnet + email series + offer |
| Deadline | Real, per group | Often none, or a personal timer |
| Live element | Often (live PLC3) | Rarely |
| Community feel | High — groups move together | Low |
Evergreen launch ethics
Scarcity is one of the mental triggers Jeff Walker discusses in Launch, and it only works ethically when it’s true. Fake countdown timers that reset on refresh destroy trust. If the cart closes for a group, it should really close for that group.
Common evergreen launch mistakes
- Automating too early, before a live launch has proved the offer.
- Stale content that references dates or events that have passed.
- No traffic plan. An automated launch with no new subscribers is a dormant launch.
- Fake deadlines.
